WARRANTY/TERMS AND CONDITION

(This warranty applies to all Jarwlee scooters and E-bike products excluding parts, and accessories)

 

Jarwlee products carry a six months limited warranty policy. 

 

TO QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE:

  1. You must present a copy of the sales receipt within 90 days of purchase.

  2. The product cannot be used for rental or commercial use.

  3. The product cannot be used for competition.

 

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  • This Limited six months Warranty is non-transferable after the product’s initial sale.

  • No unapproved modifications can be made to the product, its performance or otherwise, in order for this Limited six months Warranty to remain in effect.

  • No reimbursement is provided for towing, loss of time, loss of use, inconvenience, incidental or consequential damages.

  • Warranty is void if weather related water damage is determined. Owner is responsible for storage and protection from weather.

  • Jarwlee makes no warranty with respect to products or trade accessories not made by Jarwlee, including, but not limited to, motors, tires, wheels, and batteries, such products or trade accessories, such items being subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty, if any.

  • This Limited six months Warranty does not cover minor surface blemishes, rips, tears, or other cosmetic damages due to normal use, or other intentional or unintentional damage to the product.

  • This Limited six months Warranty will not cover any damage which results from the application of improper cleaners, solvents or chemicals to the product, water damage, smoke or soot, or from exposure to saltwater, sea breeze or salt.

  • This Limited six months Warranty will not cover any damage which results from aging, such as fading of paint, deterioration of plated surfaces, deterioration of rubber or plastics, or rusting.

  • This Limited six months Warranty does not cover improper repair or misdiagnoses of problems.

  • This Limited six months Warranty only covers parts due to manufacturer defect.

  • Damage due to misuse or neglect, use other than as specified in the Owner’s Manual, or use under abnormal conditions are not covered by this Limited six months Warranty.

  • This limited warranty does not cover products sold second hand, open box, including but not limited to floor models (unless manufacturer’s warranty approved upon date of purchase).  Refurbished equipment, equipment sold without a manufacturer’s warranty or sold “as is”.

  • This limited warranty does not cover products manufactured more than 1 years prior to claim date (serial number).

 

OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As the device’s owner, you are responsible for the performance of the required maintenance. You may be denied a warranty claim solely because of your failure to ensure the performance of all scheduled maintenance. As the owner, you should be aware that you may be denied your warranty coverage if your device or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unapproved modifications. Operation, registration and license

Purchasers are responsible for registering (if applicable) and operating the vehicles in accordance with the local state laws and ordinances. The purchaser is responsible for contacting their local state dept. of transportation or dept. of motor vehicles to verify if the product(s) are legal for operation on and/or off road in their state.

Protecting Our Customers from Identity Theft

To protect the privacy and identity of our customers, we do not take orders over the phone.  If you are having difficulty with our checkout or would prefer an invoice, please Chat will us on our website and we will be happy to assist you in any way possible.  If you cannot reach us due to high chat  volume, please contact us using our email address at:  info@jarwlee.com

Refund/Returns/Exchange

Please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) or email us at info@jarwlee.com. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number. Once you have an RMA number, it is your financial responsibility to return the item to the address specified.  We will not accept returns simply because you do not understand how to assemble the unit you ordered.

The product must arrive complete (including warranty cards, manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.) and in the original packaging. A copy of your original invoice must be included in the return shipment.  A 30% restocking fee will be applied for any items that are returned by the customer depending on the condition of the item.  Furthermore, if any parts, accessories, hardware, manuals, packaging, etc. are missing – the cost to replace and or repair the item will be deducted from the final refund amount.  If an item has been damaged, used, or maintained in any way other than that recommended by the manufacturer, this includes any mechanical alterations, the return will not be processed.

If you have the vehicle in your possession for more than 14 calendar days and it has been in use, you will not be eligible for return, refund or replacement. The vehicle and or parts can be sent to us at your own expense; we will repair it and send it back to you for our cost in labor, parts, and shipping.

Our shipping expenses are neither refundable nor reimbursed for any reason. This includes all freight charges: original shipment, returns, and parts warranty.  Original freight expense will be deducted from your refund. If an order is refused at time of delivery, the cost incurred to us by the freight company will be deducted from your refund.

Items that will NOT be accepted for return include:

Clearance, Refurbished, Floor Model, or Used Items;

Parts, Accessories, Clothing, Riding Gear, or Helmets;

Damaged units caused by customer;

Unauthorized returns are subject to variable restock fees based on the condition.

 

ORDER AND CANCELLATION

When you order through us, your order is processed immediately (Rush Processing) at no additional charge.  Most websites that ship fat tires electric scooters charge an additional fee for this service.  Most orders are shipped from our warehouses soon after your order is placed.  Since our order processing is done so quickly, the amount of time allotted to cancel an order before it is shipped is small.  If you wish to cancel an order, you must do so within 1 hour after the order is placed.  To cancel an order, please reply to your order confirmation email and request that it be cancelled, please include a brief description as to why you wish to cancel so we can include it in our records.  If the order has been processed but has not shipped there will be a non-refundable fee of $50.00 If an order has already shipped, then it cannot be cancelled, and the order will follow our return policy.
